after years of advanced research and continuous improvement on nano-technology and chemical etching technology, YUHUA released RayCatch® series diffused AR-glass. we have obtained huge light transmittance improvement from 91.5% to +97%(PAR) with 20/30/50/70/75/80 haze available.
Yuhua is the only manufacturer who is capable of using etching technique to produce AR-glass in China.
RayCatch® AR coating diffuse glass
Yuhua’s AR coating diffuse glass is the 5th generation glass for greenhouse, which has unique properties. The etching technology doesn’t apply any materials on the glass substrate, we use specially formulated acid to change the 100nm surface of both sides to porous structure, which can increase light reflection times in the surface to improve light transmittance. The etching technology can also promise longer durability than other AR technology and the surface hardness is 4H.
Besides etching technique, we also adopt rolling process to create special pyramid pattern on the bottom surface and special designed matt patterns on the upper surface of the low-iron glass. This process reduces direct reflectance and internal reflection as well.

Advantages of RayCatch® AR glass
diffusion reduces the radiation intensity of sunlight and decreases the photo-inhibition from plants.diffusion makes shadowless greenhouse possible.Sunlight will get through by all angels so that the plants could be exposed to the sunlight sufficiently, thoroughly the greenhouse climate is significantly improved.
Excellent light transmittance
It’s 6% or more light transmittance of the glass after AR treatment, especially for the sunlight between 400nm-700nm (PAR) which plants need for photosynthesis. Our AR technique raises the light transmittance to +97%,which means 15% more light to crops.
RayCatch® AR glass glass increases UVB transmittance significantly compare to normal glass. This light is essential for reducing the need for fungicides and pesticides, can help the plants grow healthily.
Self-cleaning function and non-condensation dripping
The AR process makes the surface of glass hydrophilic. The water will form an even layer when it flows on the glass surface so that it’s difficult to find rain marks outside and condensation dripping inside. Pay attention on the condensation drip, it can be a nursery killer when greenhouse climate is not well controlled!

the anti-reflective layer of our glass is very stable and durable since there is no other material added to the surface and the hardness is 4H(please find a test report attached).The guaranteed life of all kinds of our glass is 25 years.

Normal transmittance T normal, Tn, T0
The normal transmittance is defined as the transmittance for perpendicular incident light, which means that the angle of incidence is <8°.
Hemispherical transmittance T hemispherical, Them
Diffuse light consists of rays of light from all directions and with a certain angular distribution. The angle of incidence of sun light on a greenhouse cover varies during the day and year. In addition, global radiation has a hemispherical an direct part and especially for northern regions there is a close correlation between the amount of light in the greenhouse and the hemispherical transmittance of the covering material. Therefore the hemispherical transmittance is a better performance indicator of the covering material than the normal Transmittance.
Haze Haze is defined as the fraction of the transmitted light which is scattered more than a certain deviation of the incoming incident angle. Haze measured by Wageningen UR Greenhouse Horticulture is defined as the amount (power) of light which deviates more than 2.98° from the incoming angle, which is perpendicular to the sample.
the minimum promised light transmittance of RayCatch® AR glass is 97%,sometimes can even reach 99.5%.

The whole progress can be divided into the following processes: raw glass production→Q/C→cutting→grinding, drilling & washing→Q/C→tempering & cooling→Q/C→AR etching→Q/C→packing&delivery.

The metric size of our melting furnace is 600 MT per day ,The total capacity of our glass is 700000 m2 per month.

Our tempering furnaces enable us produce solar glass sized up to 2550*1680 mm.
Anti-Reflective etching (highly confidential)
The total capacity of our etching line is 10 million m2 per year.
All the processes have a individual Q/C team,the glass can not go to the next phase without approval.we have the strictest insurance policy in China so we are the senior National Standard Drafter of China Solar Glass Industry.
The factory take sampling inspections on every batch of glass produced for the following test. sampling frequency is every other 2 hours.
1) transmittance test, average value of multiple spots.
2) check if the AR layer is even, observe with a certain kind of flashlight.
3) check the appearance quality.
4) check if the AR layer is firm, using a special kind of rough paper to scrub.
Packing & delivery
The standard packing of our samples is seal box with a tripod on the bottom, which is safer and more stable than pallet packing.we can also customize packing according you request.
